<-- Forget about Barry Bonds homeruns and place trial bets.
A year ago, people were placing bets on Barry Bonds homeruns and now people are beginning to place bets on whether or not Bonds will face jail time, not only that but how long Bonds will go to jail. With online gambling there is really a place to bet for everything that can have different odds.
It looks like Bodog, the online super site for placing bets, is placing 2:1 odds that Barry hits the slammer for 0-6 months or 7-12 months. There are 5:1 odds for a sentence between 13 to18 months and 6:1 odds for 19 or more months for perjury. Gamblers can also take 3:1 odds that Barry won’t go to jail.
After Bonds record breaking homerun imagine if he could have foreseen people placing bets on whether or not he would face perjury jail time charges a year down the road. There are many more aspects of the trial that have betting odds placed against them such as possible MLB grievance charges or plea deals. We have really come a long way from the classic table games of casinos’ past.
