The Barry Bonds homerun video was pretty awesome. Having watched it a couple of times now, I'm surprised someone wasn't killed in the area where the ball landed. There seemed to be quite a scuffle there. As I watched the Barry Bonds homerun video, I couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking. Did he feel the joy and triumph that he would of felt if it had been an honest victory? Did Barry Bonds homeruns leave him feeling even a little bit guilty? Did his family know what he had been up to and how did they feel about Bonds record breaking homerun? I can't imagine he doesn't feel some sort of guilt for being such a bad example to his young fans not to mention his own children. I wonder how much pressure had been on him that possibly contributed to his choice to use steroids. I also wonder what 2008 will bring for Barry Bonds. He is indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice after a four year investigation and could go to prison. Hopefully this will be a lesson to the up and coming athletes that sooner or later you're going to get caught if you use steroids.
