There was a glimmer of hope for Bonds to return to the league this season but as of right now all that hope is gone. I am willing to bet that we never see Barry Bonds homeruns again in any other MLB uniform. It is time for Barry to congratulate himself for the run he had and throw in the towel. I know this is probably not possible for an athlete with juice left but he made the decision to retire early after starting to use steroids.

It is time to commemorate Bonds record breaking homerun not only for the accomplishment but also for happiness it brought into the life of the 22 year old man that caught it and sold it for 752,000 dollars. That money helped the young baseball fan buy a place to live, invest and catalyzed his entrepreneurial dreams.

Barry Bonds homerun video will be remembered forever even if it is not for all the right reasons and he should be happy with that. He should start campaigning against steroid use in sports and use his misfortunes as an audience opener.
