Barry Bonds Homeruns record does not appear to be all that great a draw this year as he is yet to be signed by a major league baseball team for the 2008 season. While many baseball teams must be considering Barry Bonds for the simple fact he will draw in more fans to the games I feel there is a stigma attached to Barry Bonds Homeruns  and Bonds record breaking homerun due to his use of steroids. Many major league baseball fans and probable quite a few team owners, managers and players feel Bonds record breaking homerun was not truly legitimate and this issue combined with his age may see Barry Bonds picked-up by a major league baseball team for use as a designated hitter only. Barry Bonds has had a great professional baseball career. No doubt about that, but it is sad to see all his accomplishment's on the baseball field tarnished by his use of steroids. For the many fans of baseball who went to games to see Barry Bonds Homeruns they will have to settle for the fact they are not going be seeing as much of this in the future.
