Where Will Barry Bonds Homeruns Take Place Next Year? |

The question on the minds of many baseball fans is where will we see Barry Bonds homeruns in the future? Well the safe money is on an American League team as a designated hitter and occasional outfielder. You would also think that since Bonds record breaking homerun is past, some of the spotlight will be off him now and he can just play ball.
My bet is that we will see the majority of Barry Bonds homeruns hit in the uniform of the Angels. They are in the state of California, have a good chance of going to the World Series and are in need of a good left handed power hitter that is a danger any time he comes to bat. The Athletics are also a possibility as could be the Mariners. All three teams are solid and could provide the World Series ring that Barry would like as the crowning event to a great career.
The sheer power of Barry Bonds homeruns is enough to make many pitchers work very carefully to him. When you start to pitch too carefully, it becomes easier to make a mistake. The baggage that he comes with, steroid allegations, will not prevent him from helping a team get to the top. Look at what he was able to accomplish in 2007. Say what you will, he is still a great player.
