| Corporate sponsors want to wash their hands off of marketing campaigns with Barry Bonds. Barry Bonds will remain radioactive to corporate sponsors. Truth is whether Bonds record breaking homerun hitting allegations are verified or not, companies just don't like taking risks and they do not want to engage in the veneer of steroids. So Bonds record breaking homerun may catch the headlines on sports sections and TV networks may re run the Barry Bonds homerun video, but it will not earn him anymore cereal box deals and he will not be making millions of dollars from endorsements. Barry Bonds has too much baggage in the news that take up more attention than the Barry Bonds homerun videos. The man is near the end of his career and he is on a losing team. Barry Bonds Homeruns were spectacular and they earned him 2 million dollars in endorsements in 2006 even though his marketing potential was significantly profitable. Today he is far from a corporate favorite so let's hope that the focus shifts from federal indictment and tax evasions, and back on to Barry Bonds Homeruns and his baseball career.
